Connecting With Our Readers
Madonna is a magazine for those generally interested in spirituality, rather than for specialists in theology or liturgy.
Madonna’s main aim is to enrich the spiritual lives of our readers, especially those who are lay people, using the scripture readings for the day as a focus.
Our articles seek to demonstrate, through personal stories and reflections, the presence of God in our everyday lives, and to develop readers’ knowledge and appreciation of their faith.
Our writers endeavour to meet the readers where they are, in the midst of their daily lives, and explore the ways God can be present there.
What We’re Looking For
Madonna accepts submissions from external writers. We’re looking for personal stories or personal reflections on aspects of Christian life or belief. Language should be simple and direct, and not technical. Articles should be no longer than 600-900 words in length, and may be edited for space.

By offering material for publication, you also extend the right for the material to be used in the magazine, and also as part of the Madonna website. The article may also be used in a promotional campaign for the magazine, or passed on to the Pray.com.au editor for consideration there.
